Christmas Eve

Tonight we went to church for the Christmas Eve service, Logan sat through the 40 min service b/c it was aimed at kids with a puppet show and the story of Jesus. We sang Christmas carols too. Logan did a good job with singing along with the songs he knew, which are Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem and Away in a Manger. We have been singing those songs with him each night for a few weeks from the Story of Christmas book his Grandma got him last year. It was fun to have that time as a family.

He has been reading a Winnie the Pooh book to me, it’s a small board book with about 5 pages, but he has memorized the book and so he will read it to me. At one part it says “think, think, think”, Logan says “pink, pink, pink”. We have been going over the colors in sign language, so pink and think sound the same. It is so fun seeing his mind grow and seeing him understand more and remember things.
